Frequently Asked Questions

What is an Oral Health Therapist?

An Oral Health Therapist is a registered dental professional who plays a vital role in oral healthcare. Their role encompasses both dental therapy and dental hygiene, combining preventive and restorative dental treatments for patients of all ages

What makes us different from other providers?

We’re keeping it casual!
Britenow makes tooth brightening super accessible and flexible outside the traditional dental setting.
Note: If any outstanding dental treatment is noted outside of our scope of practice,
we will recommend or refer you accordingly to a dentist or specialist

Why choose a dental professional to whiten my teeth?

Leave it to the experts!
Our whitening expert is a registered dental professional and adheres to strict professional standards. With our knowledge and expertise we can be sure to offer the most appropriate treatment for your needs. We also use a higher strength whitening solution, to give you REAL , LASTING results right away. We prioritise the health of your teeth and gums by performing a thorough screening to ensure treatment is safe and appropriate, ensuring there are no underlying conditions that could compromise your dental health. We also offer oral health advice beyond the whitening treatment.

Do I still need to see a dentist?

We do not substitute your usual dental visits or treatment plans, we supplement them. Britenow offers whitening services in between your regular appointments with your usual dental provider. To ensure the ongoing health of your teeth and gums, we recommend seeing your dentist for your regular check-up and x-rays within 6-12 months of whitening.

What if I have sensitive teeth?

Britenow will tailor your teeth whitening plan around your individual needs and offer pre and post treatment instructions to minimise sensitivity. Please contact us if you have any concerns.
